Papa Kasam began with a simple communication challenge, make mutual funds feel relevant to a younger audience without losing the investor education message.
Raj conceptualised, wrote and directed the film, using stand up comedy and a familiar insight around the promises we make to our fathers to make SIP investing feel relatable and memorable.
Produced in just 48 hours, the film went on to reach 17.7M views, with 54% organic, earned widespread industry coverage and won Gold at the ET DigiPlus Awards 2026.

The idea began as an ambitious tribute to the people who stood up during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. When early conversations with brands and agencies suggested the scale would be too difficult to execute, Raj chose to take the project forward independently.
The film eventually brought together more than 100 people directly connected with 26/11, including senior Mumbai Police officers, firefighters, rescuers, hospital staff and families of martyrs, alongside artists Farhan Akhtar, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Kailash Kher, Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant.
It was filmed across locations that were themselves part of the events, including the Taj, Trident, CST and Cama Hospital, giving the film a visual and emotional connection to the places where the story had unfolded.
Making the film was only part of the journey. With no media budget or conventional release platform behind it, Raj built the path to its audience as well. The film was showcased at the Mumbai Film Festival, followed by theatrical screenings across Maharashtra through PVR and other cinema networks. It went on to trend on social media for three days and received widespread national media coverage.
From conception and casting to production, partnerships and audience reach, Raj drove the project through every stage.
Launched in 2010, Fadoo TV was built specifically for a young digital audience, with original programming around automobiles, technology, youth culture and entertainment. The idea was to create content people could watch when they wanted, interact with, respond to and ultimately help shape. Hindustan Times covered Raj leaving advertising to build the platform, while Mid Day noted both its youth focused programming and the professional quality of its early shows.
For Raj Konar, Fadoo TV was more than an early digital venture. It meant building a content platform from scratch, developing original formats, assembling teams, creating programming and understanding how ideas find and build an audience.
